Sleep in Heavenly Peace

Sleep in Heavenly Peace provides beds, at no cost, to children ages 3 - 17 who are sleeping in undesirable conditions such as on a floor, sofa, air mattress, or sharing a bed with parents or siblings.

Our church volunteered with the organization, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, to build beds for 3 lovely families! We were invited to help build the beds and outfit them with the appropriate bedding. We enjoyed it so much! The kids REALLY enjoyed them and their smiles were ear to ear. 

We have been invited back to help build additional beds in the future. We have also been asked if we are interested in the behind the scenes, actually cutting boards for assembling the bed kits for the builds. 

Sleep in Heavenly Peace has volunteer opportunities every second Saturday to cut and assemble the kits and to go and build the beds with the families that have requested them.
